　　暑期返回夏威夷的露西（约翰尼·斯奎娅饰）与父亲亚当（特洛伊·科特苏尔 饰）、妹妹艾琳及宠物黑猩猩本团聚。趁父亲因工作离家，露西与好友凯特（Kate）、汉娜（杰西卡·亚历山大 饰）及凯特的哥哥尼克策划了一场泳池派对。派对期间，本被一只患有狂犬病的动物咬伤，温顺的黑猩猩逐渐变得凶残。众人被迫困在泳池内，且在无法求援的绝境中，必须协作智斗发狂的本以保全性命。
